Good quality product at a good price
This is a good and reliable mechanism for a very reasonable price. It receives the UK timing signal without any problem, quickly setting to the correct time. The instructions are quite clear but for anyone new to these mechanisms, don't forget to remove the lock pin after setting the hands to 12 and before inserting the battery!

Accurate and Effective
I bought this to replace an earlier plugin thermostat/timer to use with an oil-filled electric radiator in my conservatory. Unlike such devices or the thermostat mounted directly on the heater, this remotely mounted thermostat measures only air temperature and is unaffected by heat from the flowing electrical current or that conducted or directly radiated from the heater itself. As a result it is far more efficient. The thermostat is very accurate and easy to programme once you realize that the unusual graphic is just representation of a mechanical time-switch dial. It has a range of pre-set on-off times, or you can create your own additional programmes. It only offers 2 setting temperatures (pre-set to 15 and 21 but easily changed) and is only programmable in 1 hour blocks. However, in practice these are ample to ensure that the room can be comfortable when likely to be occupied and kept at a tolerable minimum temperature at other times. In any case, it is easy to temporarily override a setting until the next programmed event or to re-programme these temperatures.
It is very good value and I wish I had bought it instead of the earlier pug-in solution I tried.

Good quality product for providing board-like paintings
I have used these pads for several years and found them excellent for any acrylic painting that can go over white priming, which is to say, most. The pages will curl slightly on drying, unless held on a backing but can be flattened when dry. Not the cheapest, but very good quality.
