The best of the muppets movies
I already had the Video and decided to update to the DVD as it has become a family tradition to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol every year just before Christmas - it gets us in the mood for the festive season.
So I knew what to expect as far as the movie was concerned, (and of course the story) but was surprised that one of the songs in the Video was not in the DVD. However, I think this actually improved it because the song was rather dated compared with the other music. It also slowed down the pace of the film too much, I felt.
I just think the whole thing is brilliant, the characters, the humour and the sad bits and Michael Caine played a good Scrooge, or rather, an awful Scrooge. For the young and the young at heart (like me) this is great fun. My favourite bits? Rizzo being used to clean the window, Rizzo emerging from a bucket of water as a rat on a stick, and the employees of Scrooge becoming tropical at the threat of redundancy - amongst others.

Laughed out loud! a pleasant change in between my usual genre for reading.
Light hearted, interesting and enlightening court cases. Especially liked this book as it refers to my local town. This is the first I’ve read of the series and will certainly read more.

Great gadget.
Ideal for under the stairs cupboard! Previous lights had to be switched off manually and inevitably this didn’t always happen. Great gadget.
