Very pricey!
The build quality appears to be good. Reliability of this type of product is the big issue. Since I've had this product in operation for one week, I am unable to rate its reliability. On this issue, time will tell.

Makita DTD152Z: Good companion
For some time I used a combi drill to drive screws. This was reasonably successful, however, on trying a drill-driver, the benefits became apparent. The DTD152Z has the oomph to remove stubborn screws, it is quite short enabling better accessibility in tight corners and it is comfortable in the hand. Battery life, even with a BL1820 is reasonable.
The control of the variable speed through the trigger could be improved as the trigger action is rather sensitive, i.e., progression is rather quick.
It is important to ensure good driver-bit to screw-groove seating as, with the quick delivery of power, it is easy to strip screw-heads, especially those of poor quality.
