Must have for teachers
This book has lots of great advice that chimes with my beliefs as a specialist teacher advising schools on SEMH. Another good read that explains why detentions don't work and encourages rapport with the child and understanding about what fuels behaviour. Thank you Paul Dix.

Highly readable and comprehensive
A comprehensive and highly readable introduction to the five key theories of behaviour. Applied to a number of situations, well organised, and suggestions for further reading make this a perfect introduction to the subject.
