NEW OE QUALITY MONROE ORIGINAL - FRONT LEFT - SHOCK ABSORBER (x1) - G8804

I have been looking at various shock absorbers for my Mazda3 and it became apparent that I needed ones with the white caps fitted as they hold the dust boot in place to prolong the life of the shock. Monroe seemed to be the cheapest ones with the white caps fitted and it is a trusted brand so I bought this G8804 and a G8803 for the driver's side. When they arrived the G8803 had the cap fitted but the G8804 did not. I complained tot eh supplier who contacted Monroe, they said that Monroe had changed the design and they no longer come with the white cap fitted. I was really disappointed and Monroe offered no other explanation as to why or how I would get the dust boot to stay in place. What annoys me more is that even though the suppliers now know they don't come with the white cap, they still continue to mislead people into thinking that they do. I will never buy Monroe products again!!
