Worked a Treat - Saved hundreds!
1 of 1 found this helpful A rat chewed through the plastic fuel filler pipe on my VW Polo. £400 for a new tank inc fitting! I thought I'd try this as a no lose option.
It has worked a treat. The hole was around an inch in diameter but instructions were clear and using reinforcing patch the repair is solid and fuel tight.
Worth noting - instructions say place plastic in sunlight to heat before and during repair/curing. I used hot wet towel in plastic bag to heat pipe and keep repair warm during curing and so didn't need to remove tank from vehicle.
