Fascinating, riveting, big and bold.
Although I am only part of the way into this mammoth book, it is clearly a definitive history of the great city of Jerusalem. Well researched and beautifully written. Also, I bought this used edition in very good shape for £5.00. The new updated hardback copy is currently selling on Amazon for £95.00!

Heartening and uplifting 😀
Maya Angelou was an astonishing writer and a truly beautiful human being. This book is just one example of her immense talent.
