The Gun Ketch
As a reader of historic fiction, especially concerning the sailing era navies, it is a very well developed series of books that include numerous historic events. I find the books well developed, generally historically factual and easy to read.

Good, readable, historically based fictional novel with a nautical basis.
One of a nautical series. It is a good historic fiction blending the facts of times past with a bit of social intrigue. For readers with an interest in the British navy's involvement in the events of the late 1700 and early 1800's the series is very interesting. There is a bit more of the social interaction than necessary to intrigue some readers but not more than reasonable.
