Not your father's Vivitar. Cheaply manufactured and not worth the dough.
Purchased this product because I had an earlier model Vivitar that was very similar. The older one I had was decent quality, so I naturally assumed I was getting a similar product.
This new version is simply garbage. Try as a may, it did not work at all. The number labels melted off, sitting on my car seat, on a 70 degree day--so I didn't return it. I went to WalMart and picked up a similarly priced flash, and it works fine.

Good speaker for the price.
