1 of 1 found this helpful The advertising for this device implies that it meets French 'NF' approval standards and, therefore, it meets French legal requirements. This is entirely false and misleading.
Only devices that are 'NF' tested, approved, and stamped with the 'NF' logo meet the French legal requirements. Whilst this device MAY have been tested to the same standards, the testing has not been checked and approved by the relevant and authorised authorities. Therefore, implying that it has is a con trick! Do not be fooled and do not waste any money on this device if you are intending to carry it in your car in France!
