Good, but...
Basically works, but mine starts buzzing continuously when first turned on, irrespective of what position the rotary dial ("sensitivity") is at - outside in fresh air. After some seconds, rotating the dial hard to Min and turning it off + on a few times may stop the buzzing. From then on it seems to work - bringing it near an open unlit gas jet will trigger the clicking and then waving it away from there in fresh air it will go silent again. Not exactly like what the instructions say, but ...

Does what it says!
Not bad really. Good resolution ~1.7 - 2.2 MB per 35mm colour slide. Adjustments to brightness and colour best done on pc with imaging software (like Microsoft Picture Manager for example) because adjustments by the unit are a bit erratic and limited. Also need to feed slides in one by one as using the stacker invariably ends in a jam. Still, the digitised images are quick and accurate, so it's fair value for the price.

Very well made toy.
Excellent construction, survives kiddy treatment. Detailed and functioning realistically.
