What a let down.
The Faraway Tree series is a delightful series that has enchanted children for many, many years. Any childhood is incomplete, if The Faraway Tree has not been a part of it. These books are magical and really encourage a child's imagination. However, this particular title is extremely disappointing. It's no more than a picture book, with a couple of sentences per page. What a let down and a total waste of money. Stick with the first three, this title is a tacky and unnecessary afterthought.

Pretty handy device.
Handy little gadget, with clock, triple timer, and countdown. The only thing I don't like about it, is that it stores previous times set into its memory, and they have to be cleared manually each time. Apart from that, it's a useful tool.

An excellent, nostalgic read, great for the kids.
I read this in 1975 aged 5 and really enjoyed it. I was able to read it all by myself. My nephew is just about to start school, so I thought it would be appropriate. I enjoyed reading it to him, it was a nostalgic time. This book is now out of print, so it was great to get hold of a copy.
Great tales of how NOT to behave at school!
An easy to read, enjoyable book, highly recommended.
