Fitting was difficult because I found that when you had it in the right position in would not lift off the pins for some reason the right hand pin would not release and you ended moving it out of position. So with a tape measure and some carful measuring I tightened the pins down and refitted the seat assembly and it was in the correct position. I will not attempt to remove it for cleaning as you can reach the under side with ease. Overall the seat is of good quality.
