About
Now officially an Old Scrote, I remain Old School about how you should treat people. If you're Open and Straight with others, then whilst you may get the odd person who doesn't reciprocate, the vast majority will, and that makes dealing with each other Obligingly Simple.
I am not a business or a dealer; I'm just a guy who occasionally buys and sell's stuff, mostly around hobbies of Hi-Fi, Photography, and Computing, though other items not remotely linked to these groups may occasionally make a guest appearance, so no hard and fast limitations on what may be up for grabs, folks (though I am now permanently out of long-retention fluffle valves, so please, don't ask...) Wherever practical I will endeavour to have items delivered if preferred, but for some items it may need to be click and collect.

Clean up and save a mint!
Ever fitted a new kitchen and thought "I want one of those slide-in-and-out bins things", but then realised you were being asked for between £200 and £400 for the priveledge - and often the bins are miniscule, too - seemed bonkers to me. But I didn't want a bin on display, either, so, what to do? Two of these (I got a red top for trash & a green top for recycling), cost £13.99 each, hold 40 litres each, and sit side by side perfectly in a 600mm wide full-hight cupoard which provides sensible room above the bins to use the lids. Add an aluminium cupboard bottom/base protector (a metal tray with a shallow lip all around that fits snugly in the base of the cupboard and prevents any spills from getting on the cupboard bottom, and which is simply removed to rinse & clean as required), for another £14.99 and for a total of £42.97 you have a low-cost, neat, hygenic, easily replaceable, in-cupboard bin system! Whats not to like! :0)

Very good product, but no good for my application
Nothing wrong with the product - it is well solid, well made and finished. It's mostly my fault. Despite this being for lighter weight TV's, it apparently needs a solid brick or stone wall to mount it to (my TV is a 32 incher at around 4KG, so pretty light - the mount will take up to 30KG, but you'd defo need a really strong, solid fix to the wall to handle the leveraged weight if going anywhere close to that weight), or a panel mounted on wooden battens onto which you can them "mount the mount", by picking up one of the battens in so doing. You may be able to do that without an added mount to mount on, if you have plasterboard stud walls and the necessary positioning of the TV means you can pick up on a conveniently paced stud beneath the plasterboard. Unfortunately, mine didn't. Looks like going back to a larger framed flat-to-the wall type mount, which for the necessary positioning I need, is not ideal. Hay ho.

Simply Perfection for me
Lowa always produce very high quality, purpose-designed footware you can count on. They use all the right component materials for the given job the shoe/boot is designed to carry out, including such as Gore-tex. I've tried 'em all, but for me, Lowa always come out head and shoulders above the rest. As we all know from trying booyts and shoews on, one makers size X doesn't fit like another manufacturers size X - this is because different manufacturers use a different "Last" shape (a Last is the the former they use to create the shape of the foot within the shoe/boot during the manbufacturing process), which is why you should always try shoes/boots on to see if that makers Last range comfortably fit your foot, once you know who's Last shape gives you the most comfortable and supportive fit, you can buy online with confidence the products of themanufacturer. Often, for example, one makers size 8 will be perfect, but anothers will need a size 9 to fit, but may not be as supportive. When you're standing, your foot should be in contact with the sides but not deform them outwards and there should be around 12 to 15 mm toe room at the front, whilst the shoe back should not rub/dig in, but be a supportiveclose fit. For me, Lowa is always perfect. They are very durable and very comfortable - I never got "Hot-Spots" in the shoe and can wear them all day in complete comfort and confidence, unlike many manufacturesrs these days, they also offer half-sizes (i.e. 8.5, 9.5 etc.), to help make sure you get that perfect fit. I'll grant you, they aint cheap, but they are extremely good value for money and teriffic performers that you'll have for a long time; no one was ever sorry for buying the best.
