NEVER buy a Sigma lens
Thought it would be a good buy, but it's not. You'll end up wishing you paid the money for a Canon. It's NOT sharp like a Canon USM L lens. That's why it's cheap. If you can get by with using a Sigma then go for it...but to me, it's better to spend the extra money to make me happy.

Worth the Money
1 of 1 found this helpful I've had the Canon R for about 9 months and this is the first R lens that I have bought and used. It is within a normal persons price range of $400 to $500, (unlike the other R lenses unless you have deep pockets and don't care about money.) It works flawlessly with the R camera and it is surprisingly lightweight. I highly recommend this lens if you are debating whether or not to buy this or an old EF lens, this is well worth the money!
