7 of 7 found this helpful Unfortunately I did two things at the same time, I upped the MERV rating of my filters and purchased this as recommended by my HVAC friend. First, this is a way better price than Amazon or even the installers cost at Thermal Supply. Second, hospitals use these. They kill bacteria, mold etc. lastly, they remove nasty smells from your house. I recently cooked some raw Dog food for a sick pup. Normally the house stinks for a day or two after. Not this time! An hour later the house smelled normal!! I am impressed with how little dust is in my house and knowing that my air is healthier. (I was not paid for this review, nor was the product discounted)
