Works exactly as advertised
Pros:
-Actually does work
-no apparent quality loss
-very easy
Cons:
-1080p Max resolution
-Does not carry as much power as normal HDMI
I bought this to hook up to a switcher from a pc, the switcher is usually powered by the HDMI lead but I guess as the source is DP, it obviously cannot supply the power the switcher usually runs off of, admittedly, an oversight on my part. Also the 1080p max resolution was a bit of a bummer.

Simple, nothing more
So why the 3 star rating? For the price, you really do get a lot for your money, Android 6.0 marshmallow, bright, clear screen, decent camera, smooth ui, accurate and fast fingerprint sensor (far better than I had anticipated), SD card expansion, good battery, sleek and familiar design, a decent, strong battery life. It is certainly by no means bad, but that's just about all it is, just, 'not bad' the phone lags on many apps as the lacking gpu struggles to keep up, youtube videos are, for example, always out of sync with their audio making them quite unsatisfying to view. I have experienced many instances of the screen getting so hot during use (in cold temperatures too mind) that the screen will press itself. The 3.5mm jack is centralised making the device uncomfortable to use in landscape whilst using headphones, talking of headphones, a few times now I've had one ear or both stop working requiring me to restart the device to restore functionality in both earbuds and it doesn't come with a stock music player (I'm not counting google play music). The charge cable drops out easily so you don't want to be touching it during a charge, lack of NFC and all of this experienced within 2 weeks of owning it. Now none of these are real 'deal breakers' especially not at the £200 mark, but my previous, older Asus Zenfone 2 was faster, more reliable, less buggy and in general much better value, I switched due to the intel processor on the Asus losing app support but I'm regretting that decision I think.

Exactly as expected
Works brilliantly, easily switches between HDMI inputs using a button or a remote, great for hooking my Nintendo switch up to the same monitor my PC uses. Small enough to hide with a double sided sticky pad for the ir receiver I forget its even there until I need it.
