Still a solid Sangean in most of what made it famous.
Good sound quality. No air frequency but design is 20 years old. SSB was improved later in the 909 run.

Miniature control of circuit power with little motion to activate
compact and positive conductivity with nice snap closure action to either On or OFF.

A lot of photographic prowess with a minimum of price makes for a great value.
Issues as described are minor if you run a whole roll. Handling and quality are plusses with this lens. Considered the Poor Man's leica, it handles like a CL collaboration with Leica and minolta at a fraction of the cost. If you use a normal lens most of the time, this camera will deliver without draining your pocketbook.
