Philips HC7450/33 Hair Clipper with DualCut Technology :The Official Argos Store
    06 Sep, 2017
    Badly designed
Once you put the 'adjustable hair comb' on, it's impossible to use the clipper to shape your hair in any way. The problem is that this 'adjustable hair comb' as they call it, places the blades in the centre of the comb, rather than the conventional way of having them at the edge, giving absolutely no control over where you cut and where you don't. Basically, once that adjustable comb is on, your only option is to make all your hair exactly the same length all over. Even then, that's still difficult because of the very flat design of the comb head... i.e. The instruction diagrams show you holding the comb face flat against the side of your head. the trouble is that people's heads aren't flat, they're round! Therefore it takes SOOOO LOONNNNGGGG to cut your hair with them as you have to go over the same section, over and over, at slightly different angles and directions, just so you can get it all cut. I should also mention that without the comb on, it's almost like using a razor, it gets that close to your skin, and I have cut myself twice as a result. A very, very poorly designed clipper.
DYSON HOT & COOL HEATER BRAND NEW - AM05

Expensive and noisy, but it's the only real 'child friendly' heater available
On the positive side: it heats the room well, has lots of settings to choose from, is well designed, looks stylish, has a handy remote control (which is magnetic so it sticks to the heater when not in use), and most importantly for us, is very child friendly, in that it doesn't get scalding hot, there are no moving parts and if it falls over it cuts out. On the negative, it is very expensive for what it is. It's usually nearly £400 but we were lucky enough to get one on ebay for £230, but even then, I'd still class that as expensive for what it is. And the other downside is that it is the noisiest heater I think we've ever owned! Not quite as loud as a hair dryer, but not far off, and that's even on the lowest setting.

    Highly recommended
We're on BT Infinity 2 and we've struggled with various BT Homehubs for years, constantly slow speeds, poor wi-fi coverage and regular drop-outs, so that we'd have to reset the hub atleast once every day. But 30 days on since swapping to this router we have almost double the speed, superb wi-fi coverage throughout our large 3 storey house and zero drop-outs. My admiration for this router is matched by my anger at BT that they made us suffer with their rubbish homehubs for soooo long. Wish I'd swapped years ago. The only warning I'd give is that it took me a while to get it set up. The higher band wi-fi wouldn't work properly. I tried all the various settings without any success. In the end the problem was solved by simply moving some of the antennas in the other direction! Nothing in the instructions about it, just solved it by accident more than anything else. Also the initial firmware update took ages and was more complex than it should have been. But in the long run it was all more than worth it, as since then I've not even had to think twice about the router, which is what a good router should allow you to do.
