Body Armor Curved Two 10x12 Level 3 Powdercoat Mil-Spec Certified Armor Plate

Little heavier than ceramic, but...

I love these plates, and since I'm skeptical of everyone/thing, I took a shot at my back plate with a .308 WinMag from a Remington 800 at 150 meters. No, this was not a controlled environment, scientific experiment, climate control, pressure vernal equinox; I wrapped a paper target around it and set it in the dirt, Army pace counted 150 meters, and shot at it. See pictures. Great deal and I'll trust my life to these plates. No, not expecting a replacement for proving it worked. I'll buy another one, but obviously, this plate will stand up to more than one hit. Hopefully I'll find cover before I get shot again. (No, no one was wearing the plate when I fired at it.) Thanks again, vacextar!!!. The smaller round is a 5.56NATO, for reference.

Great OEM replacement

So far, so good. Driven through a torrential downpour with no leaks. Tint looks great. The instructions are confusing; I ended up tossing them and figured it out. If you're a Jeep owner, you should be ready to do this with no instructions. Do not take the temperature recommendation lightly; it is a tight fit. I did it at 72°F and it was still a pain, but worth it. It's a lot tighter than the original soft top. But, time will tell, I'll update in a few months.
