Pleasant surprise
I ordered this refurbished and was not expecting it to arrive pristine and in the original box - but it did! Honestly, apart from a bit of sellotape on one of the controllers I would have thought it was new.
It’s a great headset and very powerful - even at 25% scale on my GTX 1060. Will be looking to upgrade soon for the full visual experience.
The hand tracking is not as smooth as with the Oculus Rift S because it uses LED so make sure to cover any nearby mirrors to avoid your hands randomly flying away.
Definitely worth a look for a mid-range VR enthusiast with a powerful PC who doesn’t want their device bricked on the whim of a social media giant.
