quality compact pa speakers - very good value for money.
I bought these to replace 2 x 15" speakers which were heavy to carry around. I needed light, compact speakers for a jazz band. so I decided the 2 x 10" speaker option would be the way to go.
we have gigged these 3 times- .
we use them for voice ( LEAD VOCAL) - and three saxes up front. 1 tenor and 2 altos.
they are crisp sounding - clear and ideal for small to medium size venues.
we have had many compliments on the sound of the front line and the voice. they are very easy to set up and obtain a good room sound.
great speakers @ a very competitive price. I found the dealer on Ebay very helpful - arrived safely and very well boxed . buy with confidence these are wonderful speakers. Boozey & Hawkeye Jazz Band. 22-05-2016.

jack bruce- songs for a tailor (remastered) (cd 2003)
i recently purchased via ebay- jon hisemans colosseum cd- reunion tour year 1994. the 2 highlights of the cd- were the performances of 2 jackbruce/pete brown songs. rope ladder to the moon and theme from an imaginary western. i hadnt heard these songs for many many years. i just didnt realise how good these songs were musically/ and lyrically. i went straight back on ebay and purchased jack bruces -"songs for a tailor" remastered cd @ a bargain price of £4.95 plus p&p. listening to the cd brought back all those memories when me and me mates used to listen to cream/and jack bruce in our front room. i still have this album on original vinyl. to hear jack bruce aghain with a hand picked set of london session supremos was an absolute delight.jon hiseman and dickheckstall smith feature through out the album, their is also a beatle playing guitar on one track. i wont tell you which one. the songs are so refreshing and they have stood the test of time. i never realised how good these songs were and how good jack is on piano and keyboards etc.
for me the stand out tracks are:
1/ weird of hermisten- the piano and the guitar riff works fantasic- that melody always send a shiver down me spine. the lyrics are also a classic- turing some of the words upside down if you know what i mean.
2/ rope ladder to the moon.
3/ theme from an imaginary western.
4/ ministry of bag. (the steaks are getting thinner and the menu smells of feet- great lyrics.
5/ to isengard- joint vocals with felix peppalardi harmonies made in heaven.
the 4 extra bonus tracks are a real find. the tracks have a semi kind finished feel - but great alternatives. @ times the brass section sounds very very 70s like the sort of brass sound on cult tv shows of the time. the voice/harmonies and lyrics- stay with you forever. and i mean forever.
iam off now to buy jacks follow on album harmony row which i also have on vinyl.
i have been playing this cd all the time, where have i been for the last 20 years plus.
great album- great value- great price on ebay- hope you love it like i do. richard // stainless 1955- 21-02-2011.
