Easy cost-effective way to convert Lexmark printer to wireless operation
This simple device replaces the ethernet cable to your network printer. I have owned a Lexmark CS410dn for about a year in a SOHO, and it works fine but I'm running out of ethernet ports on my router, and was sick of running cable when I move the printer to another location. This Lexmark product was the solution.
Installation was easy, you just plug the supplied USB cable into a special port in the back of the printer. I assume you could use the other USB port but have not tried it. The instructions show two small tabs on the case fitting into corresponding slots on the top casing of the printer, but the tabs seem to be the wrong distance apart to fit, so I attached the print server to the back of the printer with Velco instead, which works better in my opinion as it does not sit on top of the printer. I then followed simple instructions to connect the router to the printer wirelessly, which worked first time. My printer is fairly close to the router in another room, and seems to have no problem with wireless signal strength.
Printing wirelessly is exactly the same experience as wired really, and printing seems just as fast both page one out and page rate. I have had some problems with the computer not "seeing" the printer in certain applications on my Mac, but I suspect this has to do with the Mac and/or printer driver software than the wireless connection to the server.
Overall, good value and transparent in operation. Many printers nowadays are sold with wireless capability, so this simple device brings Lexmark owners up to date.

Essential for curved shower screens
Buy one now if you have a quadrand of offset shower. REally easy to squeegee off the surplus water. Light, well made not cheap plastic. Comes with hanging hook, but we just hang it over the shower pipe bracket. No other product like it that I could find.
