About
I'm a private eBayer with a 'proper job' who uses eBay as a way of getting a few quid for good quality, well looked after stuff I've acquired over the years and not as a way of making a profit...so you should find that you're going to get a bargain!

Ceiling bike hanger
2 of 2 found this helpful Great idea for saving space and storage for a bike. Make sure you get it fixed to some joists otherwise you'll be pulling down the ceiling! The only irritation is that the supplied cord is quite thin. Yes, it supports the bike fine, but it slips too easily out of the pulleys especially as there is quite a gap between the pulley and its casing. You then find yourself straining to haul your bike up using the cord running roughly over the rod the pulley runs on.
It works but you have to be careful.

Flimsy and over priced
The plastic panels and lid are much more flimsy than the photos suggest and so are not easy to line up and fit together. The corner clips which hold the panels together are quite hard/stiff to slide into place and would be a real challenge for anyone with even minor physical limitations in their hands- it was too easy to pinch/cut yourself trying to fit these. The instructions were poor quality photos with no hints on simplifying this process. The lid is equally 'floppy' and the catch doesn't lock effectively, again due to the excessive 'give' in the plastic.
It's ok once constructed and I suspect that as it fills will feel more stable/wind resistant but before then I've weighed the base down with some old rocks.
I would have been less bothered if it was priced accordingly.

Wall mounted bike bracket
1 of 1 found this helpful Seemed like a good idea and good value but I suspect this is another example of 'budget ' Chinese manufacturing. The one I received had two bolts in the wall bracket- one is the pivot for the support tube and the other acts as a 'stop ' to hold the tube roughly horizontal. Put a bike on this and I was not surprised to see a dent appear in the tube when it pushed down on the supporting bolt. The tubing is clearly too thin and will probably eventually break at this weak spot. And this was with a child's bike!
Photos of the product on eBay show a metal tab acting as the 'stop ' rather than a bolt which may be better mechanically but this is not what was sent to me.
I have remedied this myself but not everyone will be able to.
