Saturn coils

These coils are working great on my Saturn SL2. The look slightly different than the original but I think they are better! I had to slightly modify the base plate that the coils snap down on. There was a plastic extrusion thing that stuck up on my original Saturn block (the base that the coils sit on and fasten to) that prohibited one of the coils from snapping all the way down. I ground it off with a grinder and it then fit perfectly! These coils look similar to the ones for the GM 3800 series V6 engines where there is 3 coil packs but of course for Saturn you only need 2 for the 4 cylinder engine. I'm thinking the bigger coils put out a stronger spark than the original slightly smaller coils for Saturn. I think it performs better with this coil design. There isn't much that could get mixed up or wrong due to the fact that each coil only has 2 electrical connections that are fixed in the bottom and the base has 2 prongs that fit into the coil pack. Don't be alarmed if it looks slightly different in appearance, it will work just as well and even better with a simple modification. I highly recommend these coils for Saturn..! I will continue to purchase these coils for my Saturn cars during restoration. I rebuild and restore these great automobiles regularly and resale them in as new condition.

Battery charger

4 stars instead of 5 because the pics show a battery with the charger. I thought great I can use another battery during roofing projects where the drill will run in metal screws to fasten the tin on roof. I had high hopes that the battery would work great. The description said battery included, used approximately 10 times. I had identical battery already at home and was very happy with it. Performs great. Last very long on each charge. Well the battery sent to me wouldn't accept charge and the battery charger indicates it as defective! Oh well.... At least the charger does a wonderful job on all of my other batteries. Thanks :). I'm pleased with the entire experience except for bad battery. It was just kind of an add-on with the sale.
