Faulty gauge, good arm and holder

The metal arm and magnet are working perfectly and have no issues. The dial indicator gauge has been having issues from when I took it out the box, it was very stiff and grindy, the scale doesn’t show correct to the measurement as if the gauge is skipping some readings. I’m going to order a different gauge elsewhere soon. Otherwise the arm and magnet are holding the gauge perfectly and there is no issues with those products.
