Nikon F100 35mm Film SLR Camera Body With MB15 Battery Grip
    26 Jan, 2017
    Nikon F100 - Brilliant!
I'm so glad I bought this camera. I wanted a 35mm SLR but because my eyesight is not so good I wanted one with autofocus and diopter adjustment. After doing lots of research on Google I decided on a Nikon F100. This one came with the battery grip which holds 6 AA batteries. That makes the camera a bit of a beast but not unwieldy. Just as an aside - I searched for a battery holder and found the "Clicknsnap" website. It's a UK website but actually in Hong Kong. They sent me a genuine Nikon battery holder within 10 days for £11.00 including postage. Well worth looking at for bits and pieces not easily found. The camera just seems to know what to do. Film is loaded automatically and can be set to rewind automatically as well. The 5 (count them) 5 focus points lock on and the metering is spot on for everything I've taken so far. I bought the body only so I bought a 50mm 1.8D Nikon lens as well. All of the photographs I've taken are clear and sharp. It even has back button focusing and, of course, you have the great choice of Nikon lenses. It has the SPAM shooting modes, DX film coding and the option to use bracketing. In short, I really love using this camera, shooting film again and trying out different types of film. If you're looking for a 35mm SLR the Nikon F100 should be on your list and very near the top.
