Quad RCA EL84s
Tubes were exactly as described. Working great in my Scott amplifier.

Hammond/Amperex 12AX7
2 of 2 found this helpful I have an HH Scott 222-B, that has a reputation of being a "warm" sounding amp. It originally had Telefunken tubes. But those have become far too expensive for me. The Amperex 12AX7s sound just as good to me at a more affordable price.

Klipsch Heresy III
Outstanding match with my vintage tube amp. These speakers sound great. The sub-woofer was a unexpected surprise. At first, I used it to add some bottom end to the Heresy IIIs. After a few weeks decided the speakers didn't need the help. The sub is now used strictly for my home theater system.
