Excellent modifications; superb sound
2 of 3 found this helpful The modification to the cable had clearly been done by somebody who understands HiFi. The overall sound of these 'phones is superb; wonderful detail, warmth and bass. Perfect for Jazz - e.g. Bill Evans, Ornette Coleman. An excellent low-cost introduction to the 'Grado sound'. I would recommend this type of product, and Grado, to any music enthusiast. The only minor caveat is that, over time, they are not that comfortable to wear. But this is to be expected from a 'budget' model, and the sound makes you forgive everything else!
