The unclutered size and ease to follow it is wonderful.
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a real bonus for people with poor eye-sight like me.
I use it on a motorbike and the big size lets me see without it hampering my view while riding.
I also don't use it on sound.
Only problem, i wish the screens were able to cope with daylight better than they can as at times you can't see the screen.
One other problem, it never switches off, even when off as it keeps checking in and you can't turn this feature off.
If you have left it for a week the battery will be flat as it keeps working when switched off.

Unbelievable build quality and for the money you can't buy better.
This Nikon D80 is a few years old now but still beyond a lot of new cameras coming onto the market.
Very easy to use and understand and totally configurable.
Wether amature or Professional, you will feel at ease with the entire build quality and the way it feels in your hand.
The Nikon D90 replaces this camera model with 2MP more per image.
Battery life is exceptional for such a lot of eletronic gagetry and even in full flash mode it keeps on going.
Very easy to update with a battery holder that will store and use 2x batteries. Excellent if you are going out for days on end.
To use this over the Nikon D90 on the size of images I go up to at 16"x20" both cameras deliver amazing quality, dependant on the type of len's you buy.
