Written by an expert in the history of The Stanley Works and Stanley Woodworking tools with each chapter covering specific tool types in great detail. The history of the begging's of the Stanley Rule and Level Company and the growth in business, because of William H Hart's vision and drive to develop and build the range of tools they manufactured, is very interesting and this part of the company's history is rarely covered in other books that only cover the history of the tools they manufactured.

From the very good "workshop practice series" and written by experts, this book covers the technical and practical skills required to carryout tool and cutter grinding and sharpening. Very informative and explained in great detail this book is an essential tool in the finer details of this job.

Highly recommended and at a very competitive price.
