A necessity.
This lens is built from a heavy duty plastic, not only making it look nice, last longer but also drives the cost down for such a sharp, fast lens. I think 24mm is one of the most fundamental focal lengths to have to work with and the sigma art version is arguably better than a lot of native brand versions such as nikon and canon. Even though that point is subjective as they all have strengths and weaknesses, having a 24 1.4 for over half the price to me seems like a no brainer!
I'm currently selling all my gear from Nikon and jumpingq ship to Sony.. the first 2 lenses on my list are a 50 1.8 and this very lens with the native E mount as I use it so much!
