Defective refurbished Power Meters

I purchased refurbished Garmin Vector 3 power meter petals this summer from about.blank. Both pedals are supposed to measure the power delivered by the bike rider to help the bike rider monitor their performance. The pedals are very specialized and expensive so even though the refurbished pedals cost over $500USD, you save a considerable amount of money vs. buying them new. The risk is they were bought half way around the world. I bought the pedals from about.blank. The right pedal works and the left petal has never worked. I recently took them to a bike shop and they confirmed the left pedal doesn't work. When the bike shop removed the battery compartment, other parts came out too that were not supposed to. This item cost over $500 and has not worked a single time. I sent a message to About.blank but they did not respond to me. So as of now, I'm out $500. It was bad judgement to buy from about.blank.
