excellent medieval mystery
I bought this book because i usually buy all susanna gregorys novels.It is part of the geoffrey mapppestone series and is set in the reign of henry the first.It was well up to the standard of her other offerings and i will be buying the rest of the series.

Usual Corbett mystery.
I have enjoyed the author's previous Hugh Corbett books but I must admit to being a little disappointed by this latest offering.The storyline is all too familiar.The hero has to investigate a series of mysterious killings that occur behind locked doors with no sign of entry or resistance from the victim.The author has used this theme several times before. Identifying the killer did keep me interested until the final pages so I have given the book top marks but perhaps Paul Doherty is stretching himself a little too thinly.?
