Only one tiny niggle
1 of 1 found this helpful I hunted high and low to find a replacement battery for a friend's infra-red gun sight, and eventually stumbled upon this. It seems to work just fine, and I can think of quite a few applications for such a battery. I would prefer that it didn't have the LED to indicate that the switch is on; it just seems a slight waste of battery when the on/off status is evident from the switch position, though I guess the actual drain is negligible

Good value blades
They look to be exactly the same blades as sold by major DIY retailers, at about a tenth the price. If only they would make them in white plastic, instead of camouflage brown/green, then I'd never lose another one! And suppliers would still remain in business, because blades do occasionally snap, for example if they hit a rock or some other immovable object.

Handy little tool
I'd fantasised for years about designing a tool like this, and as usual, before a got round to it, here it is! It's got sufficient sensitivity to trace mains cables through the typical depth of plaster, so it's doing everything I need.
