Flimsy
Item fits, but is flimsier than the original, I have to hold the clip, when I unclip the bonnet rod.
Original part not available, it does work, better than nothing!

Retro bike
This item is ideal for old school bikes. Fitted this to my 25 Yr old trek. It was an exact replacement. I had previously fitted another type, but it ruined the look of the bike. Sure it would work well on newer bikes, if it fits.
