Like Paris in the early 1960s full of light colour and sunshine
cd in good condition a fine recording by any standards joyful feeling communicated by all the American jazz musicians led by a really on form Clark Terry, partly as a result of its Parisian setting and influence great solos and ensemble passages altogether an excellent product highly recommended

excellent recording beautifully performed and composed
superb religious music beautifully composed and performed the Lamentations start sadly as expected but the mood swings and both choral and solo passages can be lively and energetic the Vespers are even more lively but just as devotional incredible that this glorious music is not often played Bach and Handel lovers take note, try Durante and other Italians like A. Scarlatti, you wont be disappointed

powerful and mysterious
I was advised to hear Holmboe's 8th and 13th symphonies first as my reliable friend whose taste I admire greatly considered these to be his best after enjoying these I thought I would purchase these two previous symphonies I am glad I did both are worth listening to a fine performance of an unjustly neglected Danish composer 7th is probably better or at least more substantial than the 6th both show the influence of Shostakovich but Holmboe has his own individual style, powerful yet in slower passages ethereal and mysterious
