Disappointed is an understatement.
I bought two of these thinking they would be a nice replacement for my current WiFi setup. If the nodes are within 10 feet of the “router”, they perform flawlessly. As soon as I placed the nodes no more than 30 feet from the router, the nodes would, more often than not, drop offline. I tried using all three as the router, with the other as nodes, but had the same issue. When they were connected, the throughput was anywhere from 3 to 7 MBps/sec, both wireless and Ethernet backhaul. The only way I was able to use these were as wired nodes connected to the AC-RT68U I was hoping to replace. Oh, and yes, I updated all three to the current firmware prior to deployment. I had the same issue with both sets of three.
