Another Classic Tribute Kit!
Jeff Yagher's Aurora Box Art Tribute Models have been going strong for over a decade now. Starting with the Phantom of the Opera and the Wolfman, his acumen at reproducing James Bama's box art for the original kits into actual models are simply incredible. As all Monster Kids familiar with the original kits know, most of the box art never came close to the actual models contained inside. The two exceptions to this are The Mummy and The Bride of Frankenstein kits; indeed, the original box art did a great job of showing what was contained inside those two kits. Still, even Yagher's reproductions of these are stellar. Adding to Yagher's skill is the fact that his tribute kits are double the size of the Aurora plastic models and are constructed of solid resin and less parts. Assembling the kits takes a moderate amount of skill beyond the Testor's glue and TV-tray assembly the burgeoning young modeler is familiar with. However, as with any skill, practice and challenge is the Name-of-the-Game. These kits are not beyond the skill of the beginner; only another step.
