Truly unsettling horror
Ramsey Campbell's "Incarnate" is far and away one of the greatest horror novels ever written. It's gripping, horrifying, disturbing and also, on occasion, laugh out loud funny (especially when we're with the hilariously inept Danny).
I won't give away too much, but if you like unnerving stories about dreams, aftermaths of scientific experiments and insanity this is the book for you!

Essential album
First bought this back in 1978 when I was a mere 15 year old. It still sounds as fresh, dynamic and as full of raw power as it did back then. Not one track is 'filler'. Every second of this album is exciting and, of course, supremely played by the four members of the band. Their playing complements each other splendidly.
Essential listening for all fans of good hard rock music!

The Face That Must Die
One of the greatest non-supernatural horror novels of the 20th century. Up there with 'Psycho' in my humble opinion.
Truly disturbing insight into the mind of a very warped individual who has some very strange and extremely paranoid views about people and society in general.
It's also an excellent snapshot of life in Britain in the 1970s and, typical of Ramsey Campbell, laugh out loud funny in places.
Essential reading!
