Hafele Door Escutcheon Cover - Keyhole Style - Polished Chrome - 10 Packs - 5cm

Nice finish, very good value and a cool, commercial industrial sort of vibe.

In the first place, there are 10 pairs of escutcheons, which means 20 individual units complete with two types of fixings, which is quite astounding value. The baseplate screws on to the door and the top cover clips onto that, leaving a clean finish with no screws visible. It's quite a commercial design, so fairly like that you'd see in an office or work environment but that's what I wanted. The key aperture is quite large - bigger than the keyhole in the door, so you can see the paintwork inside, but I put some black tape around that and it looks less odd that way. If you've got 10 doors to dress and you don't want to spend a fiver per door just on escutcheons, this is a good, cost effective way of doing it.

TP-Link AV600 Powerline Kit with Passthrough

Easy setup, excellent data apeeds and very useful passthrough function

The set up is very straightforward. I'm not sure if it's compatible with other powerline devices (I tried an older non-TP Link version on the same ring but it wasn't recognised - it seemed to be ignored) but if the units are all TP Link it all sets up very easily. Speeds are consistent and the signal is stable, unlike with our rather glitchy WiFi.
