Out of town - out of time
1 of 1 found this helpful Remember Jack Hargreaves? I did, mainly because of "How?" but also for Out of Town which was a feature of Summer Holiday viewing when I was a child.
The series has lost none of its charm due in no small part to the laid-back, conversational, narrative style of Jack reviewing some of the surviving footage of the epic series that ran for so many years. Most of those original shows are now sadly lost but the re-recorded links and voice-overs give the 9 volume set of thirty six or so episodes a taste of the classic series and the huge fund of knowledge that Jack would impart from the days of his childhood.
Don't be fooled by his slow speech and rambling narrative though, he was a Londoner by birth and involved, at a senior level, in setting up ITV and getting it on the air. He was very sharp and loved to live away from the city for his love of the countryside and the links with the past that will soon be lost if they are not already gone.

Worth the money
This is a great little table for a low price. All the parts are there to set up a fully functional table, even though there are no instructions, the pictures give sufficient information to set it up.
The fence is not very substantial and the adjustment is worth measuring despite the "ruler" on the table. Run a test piece through to check your setup and away you go.
On the plus side it has dust extraction fittings and the clamps for the router are universal, The table is sturdy and level when assembled.
The drawbacks are the power lead being about a foot long, and there being nothing supplied to hold the router trigger on during use (A cable zip tie will do that job for you). The plastic fence is also a bit... well, plastic, but not too flimsy.
Overall, you will be hard pressed to find better kit for the price, and if you have never used a table before, you will wonder how you managed without one.

Quality
This fulfilled a requirement for a robust pipe of a specific outside diameter. With other product descriptions the dimensions were vague and this was the first that I found with exact measurements, so I was confident in that at least.
On arrival, after a very short time, the size was confirmed and the quality apparent. It was fir for purpose, with the construction quality way above the requirements I had for the task in hand.
To summarise: Great product, well manufactured to the stated size, swift delivery and a good price.
