Overall still worth buying despite the design issues.

More powerful than my previous dustbuster and has more accessory tools too. However, the detachable house, although very useful, can't be secured in place properly and hence regularly falls off from the main unit. It only has a couple of tiny plastic lugs at the front and pushes gently in place at the rear which isn't sufficient to secure it; it's a shame as the unit has a proper securing mechanism for the accessory tools but not the hose itself!. Also, when the integrated brush is swiveled over, it's regularly pushed back out of place when in use as it also can't be secured like my old model so isn't really much use! Yes, it's noisy but that's expected and no problem and the battery life is also fine. It's a shame that the LED turns off once it's charged - the old model had an LED permanently on when it was plugged into the mains so you could see if the charger was dislodged or turned off in error. Either another 'plugged in' LED would be ideal, or a dual-colour LED to show when it's plugged in or charging.

Much better tester than the rest

Works much better than very similar looking but slightly cheaper versions on eBay i.e. the cheaper SplinkTech version gives inaccurate & misleading results for a cable with RJ45 at one end and RJ11 the other, but this Kauden tester gives the correct results for such a cable. Great value and even better than some more expensive testers which only have LEDs at one end which doesn't give the full story whereas this tester has LEDs at both ends to clearly see what is going on during the tests!
