Didn't work for me!
I can't recommend this tool simply because, as the title says, it didn't work for me. The pistons in my calliper are partially obstructed by the design of the calliper body and although I could (just) get the tool into the correct position, there was not enough bite between the knurling on the tool 'bits' and the interior walls of the pistons to get sufficient friction to cause any movement. The locking increments of the tool could be a little finer spaced thereby offering more locking positions than they currently do. I had to use the floor/bench as a base for the bottom handle then and put my whole body weight onto the top handle to get them to offer enough friction to move the pistons. I did try it again AFTER I had serviced the pistons and re-greased everything but it was still a very similar problem.
I have said its good value because I think if it works for you then the price is worth it and the quality is good enough for me NOT to say 'no' to the question 'is it good quality' but in all honesty it could be a little better if they just put more (finer) increments on the locking mechanism.
