Poor quality

The mechanism in the barrel is very clunky,so didn't want to risk fitting and potentially damaging the door if a similar size replacement could not be found

Great product and good value for the money.

Considering the bike rack is made by Thule and yet their own products to buy are almost double the price of this particular model,I really struggle to see how much better they could possibly be. I held back from reviewing until I had used this bike rack because I wanted to give an honest and experienced review. What I would now say is I think it's a great product and excellent value for money. It does take a little getting used to using it for the first time and it is a little heavy when attaching to your car,so maybe that's why it's a little cheaper than other models made by Thule. However if you are reasonably fit and can lift around 25 kg it's no too big of a task. I would definitely recommend this well designed product which actually does what it should.
