To the point.
Set it to auto for very easy still and HD video.
Set it to manual and you will have more settings than even a pro will need.
Standard 18-55 lens is a good compliment to start with.
May be a model that is a few years old now, but is well up to the job.
First camera I ever had where I am considering investing in better lenses for wildlife stuff
