The Nexus 7 still performs well for an old tablet
2 of 2 found this helpful The first Nexus 7 has been in out a while now since 2012 I believe. I had one when they first came and it was overall fast, well built with a nice screen. I later sold it mainly since the screen was small for my rubbish long sightedness. I later bought a low cost second hand one since I wanted to play around a little with penetration testing of Android devices. Unexpectedly the old battery still performed well although I had intended on replacing it which is easy to do with these models. Installing Android 5.1.1. I unlocked it and installed the at the time of writing the latest version of Android (recommended to hold off hackers). The latest Android has slowed down the the startup time but the Apps still run fine. I found myself using it more for reading pdfs. The first Nexus 7 is still a good small tablet although the 7" screen is small and there are faster models now for a bit more money.

Wheel truing stand
Overall a good quality heavy, and sturdy wheel stand. I had some difficulty attaching the uprights since the screw holes were too small; thus one star down. But once setup it worked fine and I managed to true my wheel quite easily and so extending its life. I expect I will be using this to the end of my days.

Adapter as described
I was sent one from a second batch which works fine, and fits the older Fatshark headset battery barrel connectors. I can now use a normal battery charger, and not need to use a charger which charged using the balance lead.
