Defective Printer Cartridge

The ink is faded and barely legible. I'm not sure if this product is just really old, or if it is just defective, but it printed 6 legible pages, and then the ink faded to almost nothing. It was as advertised - open box, sealed bag, so I'm not sure what happened with the product.
