Hissy when putting your hand near to tune station in but fine after that.

Was looking a portable radio to take about the house and garden and picked this one after the reviews I seen. It's a bit hit and miss with reception, sometimes great and sometimes very hissy and when you put your hand near the radio to fine tune the station it gets more interference so it's hard to tune at times. I have to turn the nob a little bit at a time and keep taking my hand away from the radio to see if I have got it spot on the station without interference. It's bought now so will have to do, it's fine once you get it on a station and could be different in another area where you live, other radios will probably be the same so I'll say yes I would recommend it, it is a nice little radio.
