Are they any good at that price?
Purchased and fitted a pair of these 4 years ago which lasted until the MOT this year when I got an advise on a split boot so decided to replace both again as it is a very easy job to do and the parts are so cheap. An hour later both sides were done and for less than £8, Can't be bad.

VW or OEM parts?
For an old VW - OEM parts every time. I've fitted Contitech belts to several cars and never had a problem.

Why do I need a left handed thread rewind tool?
Good value, quick free delivery and does the job. Look no further if you need a left-hand thread rewind tool - most cars are right hand, but some are right hand on one side and left hand on the other so you'd need one of each if the latter.
